Social Pledge

As a social entrepreneur with a passion for finding innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing problems, SoundWave Yoga is a patron advocating for the wellbeing and empowerment of women and children, and the liberation of all global citizens.

266 million women spend 4 to 6 hours a day, every day of their lives, searching in the hopes to find water.

Every 20 seconds a child dies from water related diseases.

.
.
Do you know what invention has saved more lives in the history of humankind? The Toilet.
.
Worldwide Right Now:

  • Over 2.4 billion people (1 in 3 people) don’t have access to safe clean water and a toilet.
  • Over 3.4 million people are killed by water-related and hygiene-related diseases each year.

.

This is a health crisis. A woman’s crisis. A crisis that directly affects children’s education. Since the immediate priority is basic survival children need to invest multiple hours a day to help their mother’s search to find water—instead of going to school. Without a shadow of a doubt this economic crisis is actually a crisis in the awakening of consciousness of those who have so much and take their freedoms for granted.

This is an opportunity for awakening the power of the human heart. Having access to safe clean water and sanitation is a human birthright.

.
Known as the Nikola Tesla of water—Viktor Schauberger
—an Austrian forest caretaker, naturalist, pseudoscientist, philosopher, inventor, biomimicry experimenter, and water visionary once said:

.
“The majority believes that everything hard to comprehend must be very profound. This is incorrect. What is hard to understand is what is immature, unclear and often false. The highest wisdom is simple and passes through the brain directly into the heart.”

Water, the hub of life.
Water is its matter and matrix, mother and medium.
Water is the most extraordinary substance!
Practically all its properties are anomalous,
which enables life to use it as building material for its machinery.
Life is water dancing to the tune of solids.
Albert Szent-Gyorgyi (1972)

The Water Crisis is a Women’s Crisis

Women are disproportionately affected by the water crisis, as they are often responsible for collecting water. This takes time away from work, school, and caring for family. Lack of water and sanitation lock women in a cycle of poverty. Empowering women is critical to solving the water crisis. Involving women can make water projects 6 to 7 more times effective. When women have access to safe water, they can pursue skills outside of their traditional roles and experience greater autonomy and independence.

.
“The upholder of the cycles which sustain all Life is water. In every DROP of water dwells a Deity whom indeed we all serve. There also dwells Life, the soul of the primal substance—water—whose boundaries and banks are the capillaries that guide it, and in which it circulates.
Every pulse beat arising through the interaction of will and resistance is indicative of creative work and urges us to care for those vessels, those primary and most vital structures, in which throbs the product of a dualistic power—Life.”
— Viktor Schauberger

“By construction, the fulfillment of a woman is motherhood;—and motherhood does not mean that she gets pregnant and delivers a baby.—If you understand her total behaviour, you will understand her motherhood. Her motherhood is service, her motherhood is sacrifice, her motherhood is relationship. When she knows motherhood, she is fulfilled.” — Yogi Bhajan

What is The Ripple Effect?

The Ripple Effect is a proactive fundraising campaign that presents three annual events every year at WAVE Water Oasis: on March 22nd 1) a rotating thematic water-related event on World Water Day, in August 2) a transformational 4 day camping sacred arts festival with feature presentations, and in September 3) a water and energy 4 day conference. The purpose of these events are to mobilize individuals of all cultural backgrounds and creed, to increase awareness on the urgency of this global problem because, like the butterfly effect, this is impacting us all. It is of paramount importance to take action and raise funds in support of social causes in Canada and overseas that relate to Water and Youth.
.

Profit from these three annual events are donated to more than one organization (see links below). We collaborate with partners that share our social, environmental, and economic dedication towards an equitable and sustainable future for all human beings. Our solidarity is what gives us the credibility and power to make changes—by joining forces we bring about exponential innovative solutions to cease this global water crisis.
.
The second part of our pledge happens overseas. We are planting a seed for ongoing equitable and sustainable employment opportunity for women of India, Afghan and Egypt by creating a mala and jewelry making business. 100% of profits are directly sent to the women and their families.

Partnered with Blue Mind, WaterAid, Water.org, Skoll Foundation, Participant Media, Water United Nations, World Water Counsil, WaterLex, Unicef, along with other collaborators and supporters—together, we are paving the way towards women’s self-confidence and dignity. When it comes to repaying their microfinance loan, women are proud and on-time with payments.
.
Their gratitude for having safe running water and a toilet, ongoing education, and access to resources and entrepreneurial opportunities is heartfelt.

By offering women constant income flow this permits them to continue to thrive and better the quality of their lives—this gives women more time to be mothers, to love and raise their children, and gives them the possibility to send their children to school. Women are incredible social entrepreneurs and influential contributors to their communities.

There are vast issues that we urgently need to address when it comes to water. The structure of water has been destroyed because of pollution, radiation, inappropriate distribution of water such as “straight plumbing” pipe systems (see Viktor Schauberger’s work) and “PVC plastic plumbing” pipes used in all constructions. We also need appropriate environmental Laws to stop the use of toxic chemicals that corporations put in the worlds public water systems and in the plastics industry.

Water is a transducer for free zero point energy. Water is a conductor for the transformation of water molecules, hence our DNA (epigenetics). Water is the source for the rise of consciousness (ascension), and water is the vehicule for space-memory.

“The planet can provide for human need, but not for human greed.” — Mahatma Gandhi

“It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profound sick society.” — Jiddu Krishmamurti

“There are no boundaries in the real Planet Earth. No United States, no Soviet Union, no China, no Taiwan…Rivers flow unimpeded across the swaths of continents. The persistent tides―the pulse of the sea―do not discriminate; they push against all the varied shores on Earth.” — Jaques Barzun Cousteau

“It is fashionable nowadays to talk about the endless riches of the sea. The ocean is regarded as a sort of bargain basement, but I don’t agree with that estimate. People don’t realize that Water in the liquid state is very Rare in the Universe. Away from earth it is usually a gas. This moisture is a blessed treasure, and it is our basic duty, if we don’t want to commit suicide, to preserve it.” — Jaques Barzun Cousteau
